DpuScan and DpuServer can obtain a license in different ways. One option is single-user licensing using a so-called product key. This license is bound to a computer. After entering the product key, the license must be activated so that it can be used permanently on this PC. For this purpose, the file created with the request is sent to Janich & Klass Computertechnik GmbH and the customer receives an activation key, unless this product key has been activated otherwise.

If you want to change, reinstall, or dispose of the computer, consider the following:

Make sure that you unregister the license before you can no longer access the current computer environment. Send the resulting unregistration file to Janich & Klass Computertechnik GmbH.
You can only reactivate the product key on a new system after you have successfully logged out.
